Bremer Grant
Focus:
This proposal is to address the needs of individuals who were affected by
the closing of Heartland Foods Plant in Marshall
by creating a partnership between three local agencies. With over 160 people
entering the ranks of the unemployed (in addition to the over 600 people in
the last twenty-four months), this project will create an infrastructure
that will assist people to get back into the workforce. This proposal will
not only meet the immediate needs of these individuals, but also will
establish an infrastructure that will serve our community for the long term,
and be available to others in the state through replication. |
