ADULT EDUCATION EVALUATION BY THE OMB
 

The USDOE adult education newsletter “Thursday Notes” contains some great news regarding how Washington is viewing the performance of adult education programs nationwide. 

The US Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has the responsibility to evaluate performance of all government programs and has released its findings regarding adult education.  You will see in the article that adult education is rated “Effective” and only two USDOE programs have achieved that status.  The OMB findings have significant impact on the administrations budget planning.
